About Us

The Naraina Industrial Area was conceived for rehabilitation of units running in residential areas. Allotment of land started in year 1967 and by the year 1969 some units started manufacturing activities. Naraina then was considered as an out skirt of Delhi, having minimal facilities. The need was felt to get together and create a platform which could raise the problems being faced more effectively to concerned Authorities.

Couple of likeminded people like Sh. Girdhari Lal Jaisingh, Sh. S. S. Batra, Sh. R. L. Chopra, Sh. M. R. Gupta, Sh. K. L. Sethi and several other people got together and the foundation was laid to form an association in 1973 with Sh. Girdhari Lal Jaisinghtook over as the founder President of Naraina Industries Association Phase 1 & 2.

Naraina now has over 1000 units engaged in manufacture of various disciplines such as Light Engineering Garments, Electrical & Electronics, OEM Ancillaries, Hospital & Hospitality Equipment, etc. The association serves as the collective voice of industrial units in Naraina Industrial Area Phase 1 & 2.

The Association has expanded its efforts to include robust advocacy, collaborations, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the industrial environment. From organizing seminars and workshops to addressing crucial issues such as water supply, waste management, sewerage system, storm-water drains, condition of roads, traffic hazards, and encroachment, the Naraina Industries Association ensures that the voices of its members are heard and their needs are met.

Our key goals include:

– Advocacy for Infrastructure Improvements: Actively working with government bodies and private entities to improve infrastructure within the industrial area, ensuring seamless operations for businesses.

– Member Grievance Resolution: Providing a platform for members to raise concerns, with a focus on swift and effective solutions, be it infrastructure, regulation, or support for business challenges.

– Collaboration and Growth: Facilitating partnerships with banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders to open avenues for funding, modernization, and sustainability for our members.

For over five decades, our Association has been led by President from time to time. Presently, under the leadership of Sh. Rakesh Sachdeva, President and Sh. Anil K. Malik, General Secretary, has injected lot of vibrancy in our Association by including young members and female entrepreneurs in the executive committee, who has contributed new ideas in making our Association a proactive entity. The Naraina Industries Association remain committed to fostering a thriving industrial community, built on mutual support, innovation, and sustainable development.
